Choosing a Wedding Colour theme

The traditional colour of a wedding is white. Although people have tried to stay away from the old colour and think of something more unique, it appears that white is still one of the more preferred themes amongst new couples soon to be wed. It may be because of the glowing aura that is emitted from the colour. Imagine the bride walking down the aisle in the full glory of white with a long, flowing dress.

If you are somebody who prefers a traditional style wedding, then white would definitely be the best colour to work with for your theme. The colour speaks for itself, and it is very easy to find an assistant or wedding planner who can organize beautiful decorations revolved around this colour.

If you prefer something a little more original and not choose to reflect all upon one colour, there are alternatives available in colours of cream and pink which are soft on the eyes and still remain popular whilst not being too extravagant. These are usually mixed with other earthly colors such as rose, sage green or sometimes even silver grey.

In wedding celebrations, one of the common aims is to keep the guests entertained and happy throughout the entire course of the wedding. Therefore, choosing light, soft colours can have a great impact upon the mood and setting that guests are exposed to. Try and avoid using excessively dark colours, as they may not be appreciated by guests who may find them intimidating.
